1:Quick registration

Look to the left hand side there is a section given named as “Quick Registration”. Fill in the entries your name, email address and your phone number. Check the student check box and click register. Next you will get a confirmation message that an email has been sent to you on your provided email address with your login details and the next steps.

2:Login/Password Change/Add Role

To login in with ensigntutor is very simple there is a login area at the top. Just enter your email address and the password. Note: when you first login in you will be entering the password given to you in the email concerning registration from ensigntutor. If you are logging in for the first time you will be presented with a screen to change your password with the one your like to have. On this screen you will be asked to enter the old password and the new password, the new password must be of at least 6 characters long. When you finish this step you will be taken to your dashboard.

3:Student Dashboard

For your ease ensigntutor has provided a dashboard area where you can easily accomplish certain tasks and perform activities. Here you will see the status of your current registration whether as tutor or student. Also on the right side above the screen you will again see a link to change your password.

Plus under it you will see a link to named “Add Role”. The add role link will allow you to register as tutor or student if you haven’t register with both. There is also a bar that indicates how much of your profile has been completed in percents. In the middle section of dashboard you will be seeing 6 sections.
a) Offered Subjects
b) Scheduled Tuitions
c) NAK Offers
d) Fee Negotiations
e) Favorite Tutors
f) Free Resources

4:Offered Subjects

In Offered Subjects area you will be seeing a snippet of Category list of Subjects available on ensightutor. Under these categories you may find your desired subjects and if you drilled down further then you will get to your desired topics. To do that click more it will take you to screen where you can see category list. We will explore more this in enroll section.

5:Scheduled Tuitions

The Scheduled Tuitions area will show your scheduled tuitions.

6:NAK Offers

Ensigntutor call this area NAK (Non Academic Knowledge) Pool. Under this area you can see the offered knowledge areas topics from different tutors. NAK terminology is used in a way that if a person wants to teach a specific skill or anything that is outside of normal course offerings then he/she can facilitate this using NAK Pool area. For example if a person wants to teach how to fix a puncture then he can offer this topic using the NAK Pool. Any thing which is taught able may be lie in this area.

7:Fee Negotiations

If you want to negotiate the topic fee with the tutor then you can use this area to go on with the negotiation phase. Remember! Each student’s negotiation is hidden from the rest. We will see this in more detail in the How to negotiate a fee?

8:Favorite Students

If you enjoyed teaching of good tutors then you can mark them as your favorites. Similar feature goes with from the tutor’s perspective for students.

10:Profile Completion

On the dashboard where you see the bar indicates your profile completion in terms of percentage you will also given a link” Please complete your profile” to complete your profile. Clicking this link will take you to the steps involved in the profile completion, which are as follows:
Step-1(Personal Info)
Step-2(Preferences)

Let’s explore these steps in detail
Step-1(Personal Info)As the name suggests that you will be required to enter your personal and educational details here. Notice the fields mark with * are mandatory and must be filled before moving to next step. When you click next button you will go to next step.

Step-2(Preferences) This is the final important step in your profile completion as student. This is actually your main area to request or get enrolled with particular topic and is divided into two sections.

i)Preferred Topics
ii)NAK Requests

Preferred Topics This section will allow you to select from the list of category, subject and the topic you wish to request. You can enter the date you wish to be instructed. You can mention your timings Peak Hours and Off Peak hours as well for a particular weekday. When you click the add button you data will be saved.

NAK Requests This section enables you to request your desired topics. To request a topic is similar to the Preferred Topics procedure, the only difference is that you need to enter the details of your desired knowledge topic. When you are done with your profile completion click finish, you will be taken to dashboard.

11:Get Enrolled to take tuition-Normal Course Requests

To get enrolled with a particular offered topic you first need to click the “more...” link in the Offered Subjects area of the dashboard. Doing this will take you to the page where you can see the complete list of Categories, drilled down to your desired topic and click the available tutor button.

You will see a list of tutors who are interested to teach this topic. Under the column heading “fee” you will see a “view” button by clicking “view” a popup will appear in which the tutor’s fee for classroom and individuals will be displayed. Similarly under the column heading “timings” you will see again a “view” button by clicking this button a popup will appear on the screen telling you the tutor’s availability schedule.

Notice, there is a “Enroll Now” to get enroll with a particular tutor for the current topic and will take you to new screen where you can manage the time schedule and the do the payment, you can also start the negotiation phase with tutor from here.

There is also Check availability button clicking which tells you whether the tutor is available on your specified timings.

If everything is acceptable then you can click the “Pay Now” button which will take you to your cart list and do the payment from thereon.

12:Get Enrolled to take tuition -NAK Pool Offers Requests

To get enrolled with a particular NAK topic you first need to click the “more...” link in the NAK Requests area of the dashboard. Doing this will take you to the page where you can see two sections

i) NAK Offers
ii) NAK Requests

NAK Offers gird consists of the available offered NAK topics by users. If you want to get enrolled with a particular NAK Offer then you simply need to click the show enroll button at the end of the row. From the tutor perspective you can also add a NAK Offer by clicking the “Post New Offer” button. NAK Requests gird shows you the available requested topics by users. If you want to teach a particular NAK topic then you simple need to click the “add to offer” button at the end of the row. Also, if you are interested to request a new NAK topic you can do that by clicking the “Post New Request” button. Note: All this process is being moderated. /p> Back to Top





13:Payments

The payment button will be visible to you when you have matched your preferred timings with the tutor. Clicking the payment button will take you to page where you cart list is presented with your current enrolled subjects.

14:How to Negotiate a Fee

Likewise the payment the negotiation button will be visible to you when you have matched your preferred timings with the tutor. Clicking the negotiation button will take you to page where you can enter your negotiated fee along with some message to convince tutor. When you submit a negotiation with the tutor it will be visible on the dashboard fee negotiation section. You can carry on negotiation phase by sending and receiving back and forth message to and from tutor until he wants accept or reject it. Note: All your negotiation will be hidden from other students and you can negotiation for both classroom and individual tuition mode.
